Client stories

These notes come from traders who booked intensives, clinics, or mentoring. They describe specific habits around confirmation, not scorecards.

“I used to treat every hammer as an invitation. After the intensive I wait for the next candle to close through the high — and I’ve cut half my scratch trades. The follow-up call on my two worst weeks was blunt, which I needed.”

— Mara K., FTSE scalper · Candlestick Confirmation Intensive

“The evening clinic is useful when London has been messy. We spent twenty minutes on one cable engulfing that never confirmed, and I recognised my own morning entry in it. Still working on not chasing the second candle when I’m late to the desk.”

— James O., FX swing trader · Evening confirmation clinic

“Private mentoring forced me to open the trades I usually hide. On a mid-cap equity pin bar I had entered at the wick tip; walking the confirmation close on the 15-minute chart was uncomfortable and precise.”

— Priya S., UK equity trader · Private chart mentoring

“Open prep briefings keep me from rewriting my plan at 7:55. We map which overnight candles need a second print. It hasn’t made me patient overnight, but it has made my first hour quieter.”

— Tom H., index day trader · Open prep briefing

Extended note — intensive, March cohort

A small FTSE group arrived with the same habit: entering on the first bullish engulfing after a downswing. Over six hours they rebuilt a rule that required a close above the engulfing high and a hold of the pattern midpoint on any retest. Two weeks later, three of the four traders sent charts where they stood aside when the second candle only poked the high and failed. One trader still entered early twice — those trades became the mentoring follow-up, not a marketing story.

Extended note — clinic after a wet Tuesday

After a rainy London close, the clinic reviewed a sequence of pin bars into a well-watched level that never produced a confirming close. Attendees marked the same invalidation line independently. The conversation stayed on candle structure and session timing, not on predicting Wednesday.
